A special state police unit set up to deal with “organized crime, murder, assassination attempts, foreign agents, felonies of every type”, the Hawaii Five-O team members answer only to the Governor of Hawaii. They investigate only the highest priority and sensational crimes, and eventually, all criminal masterminds hear Steve McGarrett say “Book ‘em Danno!”
