With the help of his devoted secretary and personal investigator, Perry Mason always manages to solve the puzzle in the nick of time and get his client off, much to the dismay of his arch-rival, LA District Attorney Hamilton Burger. Although it was sometimes predictable, Perry Mason was television’s most successful legal series for nine seasons.
